What is HIFU Body Lifting?
HIFU Body Lifting delivers targeted ultrasound energy deep beneath the skin to heat and tighten connective tissue, creating a firming, lifting effect on the body.
How does it work?
Focused ultrasound heats the deeper structural layers, stimulating collagen production and tightening tissue for a progressive firming effect — without surgery or downtime.
What concerns does it help with?
Who is it suitable for?
Clients with mild to moderate laxity on areas such as the abdomen, thighs, knees, arms, neck or décolletage. A great post-weight-loss option.
Who may not be suitable?
HIFU Body Lifting is not suitable for: pregnant or breastfeeding clients; clients with open wounds, cystic acne or active infection in the treatment area; those with metal implants or electronic devices near the treatment area; severe or cystic acne; compromised skin barrier or active skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area; and uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune conditions affecting healing.
HIFU works best for clients with mild to moderate skin laxity. Clients with severe laxity or significant excess skin may require surgical intervention and should discuss options with their nurse during consultation. Very thin skin or lack of subcutaneous tissue in the treatment area may also affect suitability.
Options & Pricing
What should I expect?
Energy is delivered in measured passes; you may feel brief deep warmth. Treatment time varies by area, around 60 minutes.
Preparation
Little to no preparation is required for HIFU Body Lifting. Arrive with clean skin — no lotions, oils or skincare on the treatment area. If the area has hair, it may be trimmed for optimal contact. Avoid blood-thinning medications, alcohol and vigorous exercise for 24 hours before treatment to minimise any bruising risk. Your nurse will assess the area during consultation and discuss your goals.
Aftercare
After HIFU Body Lifting, you can return to normal activities immediately. The treated area may feel warm or slightly tender for a few hours. Keep the area clean and well-hydrated with a gentle moisturiser. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear SPF on exposed areas. For 48 hours, avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot baths and direct heat on the treated area. Avoid active skincare (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) on the treated area for one week.
Any visible firming response develops gradually and varies. Your nurse will recommend a review point and only discuss maintenance or further treatment after reassessing the area and your response.
Downtime & recovery
None to minimal. Mild tenderness may occur briefly.
Results
Visible response and timing vary. Your nurse will recommend an appropriate review point and any future session only after assessment.
Individual results vary. No specific outcome is guaranteed. Your registered nurse will discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.
Typical treatment journey
