What is Clatuu Alpha?

The Clatuu Alpha is a controlled-cooling system manufactured by Classys Inc. in South Korea and used within MÜNE's cosmetic body-contouring service. The treatment applies cooling to a selected area without surgery or anaesthesia.

At MÜNE in Victoria Park, it is used within a nurse-led pathway that begins with an assessment of the area, your goals, suitability and the possible treatment response.

How does it work?

The Clatuu Alpha uses a suction applicator to hold the selected tissue while controlled cooling is applied. Applicator choice and settings depend on the area and the individual assessment.

Cryolipolysis is intended to affect cold-sensitive fat cells within the treated area. Visible change, timing and the number of sessions vary, and temporary redness, tenderness, numbness or swelling can occur. Your nurse will explain expected response and aftercare before treatment.

What sets it apart

The suction applicator is designed to apply cooling around the selected tissue while the device monitors the session. Applicator fit and treatment planning remain important, so not every area or person will be suitable.

Why we use this technology at MÜNE

At MÜNE, body contouring is a personalised, nurse-led service rather than a weight-loss treatment. The Clatuu Alpha gives the team a controlled-cooling option for selected areas when assessment indicates it may be suitable.

All CryoSculpt treatments at our Victoria Park clinic are performed by a registered nurse, with pre-treatment assessment, realistic expectations and individual aftercare guidance.
